i sanded the table, primed the table, painted the table, glazed the table & distressed the table
my husband handyman cut cherry wood veneer we had from our bathroom cabinets into 3 1/2 inch slats in 3 random sizes
rounded the edges & distressed w/ hammer, chain, knife {we all took part & it was very LOUD but fun :0}
glued it down and this is where i'm at....
ok, now that i'm finished w/ this part... i'm contemplating on sanding the painted part of the table top and staining the same as the slats?? {have not stained slat yet...deciding on stain color}
hmmmmm, more work is what my husband handyman said...not sure why he's worried i'm doing all the work :)
